I have a suggestion..

Can everyone help me by posting about poetry, stories or films they've come across on the subject of necrophelia?

We can turn this itno a story club thing for a while and someone suggests a read.. we all read it and then we can discuss it.

Graphic novels and comics count too..

My first suggestions would be The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and Sleep Pale Sister by Joanne Harris. Neither specifically necrophiliac texts but both contain issues of sex and death and both good books. Some of the stories in Drawing Blood, 1 or 2 by Poppy Z Brite are worth mentioning. Also you must read The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by A. N. Roquelaure (a pen name for Anne Rice) as it covers what we have discussed already.

Thanks for the suggestions.. I think if we could get enough interest together maybe we should start up a story reading club on this aubject in London. It'll be a members-only meeting and we could go through short stories and such.
