well the control element is obvious. Bending a will to your own is great, but what about a person who has not only no will, but no activity or movement, who might not even know you're there. That takes you to the source of all great fantasies, the taboo element, the knowing you shouldnt be doing it and with a 'sleeping' partner, what if they woke up and caught you?

Also in a conventional (?) BDSM scenario the fact you have permission to do anything or they do it for you is nice, but I like stretching peoples limits. Seperate but related to my dominative interests are crueler ones too. A person unable to talk or move can make no protestations to any course of action you choose to take, there's no risk of them knocking you off track with a safe word when they cant talk.

what happens t feedback though.. people who rely on pleasures being maximised when they know the other one is enjoying themselves? I'm quite selfish so maybe knowing if the other person is enjoying themselves is not relavant to me..
now we come to the topic of sex dolls vs. the dead..

Making love to someone you care about is great and you can give knowing they will too. Few fetishistic fantasies are about that. Sexual desire is a biological need, it's inherantly selfish. And with any control issue you get an ego massage out of them existing for your pleasure. The reason a sex doll doesnt work for that is it lacks spite to use one. With the dead you know you are 'wronging' them, that they and their family will be upset, that with a sleeping or pretend person you can do the things that person normally wouldnt let you. You can do anything at that point, so why go for the things you already good do? Power is not just yours, but yours to impose despite or to spite them. And the sex doll is a poor mimic or the real thing, the only time it works is if you are capable of making that jump, of fake unmoving to dead person, rather than living.

robots?? or even Virtual relaity animation of a dead person? would that work you think??

I've long wante dto create a VR environment in which you can create the character you like to be with and fulfill all types of fetishes/fantasies you like in that environment

Either of those would be good, and would enable you to gt over any concerns you might have about doing what you want to someone who realy exists, but an artificial form that pretends to be human would be more a prostitution substitute than an aid to a death fantasy. You could indeed have sex with a VR corpse free from disease and criminal implications and I'm sure it would be a part of what you wanted it to be, but knowing it's never been really alive would take some of the fun out of it. I think that's a point we've missed so far. Sex is life, it's the start of it, and it makes us feel alive. Confronted with death, knowing it's waiting for us we want to say "fuck it, show me a good time then I'm yours." So for some that means jumping the body.

On the subject of VR an ex of mmine had a fantasy about creating a simulation of her partner so she could have a threesome without actually involving anyone else.

Well here's one for you, would you want someone to take pleasure from your body after your spirit has left it?
